The QB’s mother Randi Mahomes also commented something emotional on the family picture post.
Many of you would know that Randi’s father is in critical condition. He is fighting for his life due to which Mama Mahomes is staying with him. She revealed her thoughts surrounding spending Halloween without Patrick Mahomes and family. Randi admitted missing trick-or-treating with the kids. Her comment on the IG post read, “Miss trick or treating with y’all!!! ️️️ love yall”

This was a really emotional statement, and anyone who read it might feel her suffering. Maybe next time she will be able to spend more time with them. And next time it will be more fun as one more member of the family would have come till then. In case you didn’t catch that, Patrick Mahomes and his wife are expecting another 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥. This was a thing that they highlighted in their costumes, too.
Talking about their costumes, Patrick Mahomes dressed up as the Zookeeper to fit the theme. His daughter Sterling was a flamingo, and his son Bronze was a Lion. While they all looked stunning, everyone’s attention was drawn to Brittany. She was costumed as a kangaroo and carried a 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 kangaroo in her pouch. This was done in preparation for their upcoming kid.
This was a nice move, and many people noticed and appreciated it. While this was a wonderful moment for the family, Chiefs fans will be anxious about Mahomes right now.
Patrick Mahomes is on the injured list for the first time this year
Well, Mahomes being on the injured list is startling, but it is true. On the day of Halloween, Thursday, Patrick Mahomes was limited on the field during practice. According to some reports, this move was done because of an ankle injury the QB suffered. Although it is something terrible, it may also be the beginning of a calamity.
According to current reports, Patrick Mahomes is set to play in the Monday game against the Bucs. This suggests that even if the QB plays, he may not give his 100% on the field. Well, maybe that can be managed with crowd support as the game is taking place on their own turf.
Some other Injured list players who were also restricted at Thursday’s practice are Kareem Hunt and Mike Danna. While these were the only injured players who were restricted, others were not medically cleared for even that.
